A SERIAL THRILLER? or DROPPIN' LIKE FLIES

Murder Mystery

A group of serial killer enthusiasts have gathered together at The Lodge in Cloudcroft to write a highly anticipated book on serial killers.  The publisher, T. Ertle Knitt with MangleMar Publishing, coordinated the four-day meeting which was to feature an agenda filled with lectures and discussions from police, psychologists and other professionals.

The event would culminate with Knitt announcing the roundup of the killers and the title of the book on Saturday night.  With the announcement of the order, the killers - many of whom were still living - would be thrust into the spotlight again.  Bringing notoriety and potential lucrative Hollywood movie deals to the authors.

Each author has written at least one article or paper on some of the serial killers around the globe.  Contrary to what they think many authors haven't done the research on their "subjects" like they should have.  They have relied instead on news reports, secondhand reports, flight of fantasy and other sources to produce their writings.  With this failure to do good research someone was bound to leave out details or get things wrong.

Betty Knorr was found dead Thursday night after midnight.  She was found dead in her room on the fourth floor.  There were "signs"  of an obvious struggle in her room.

Thursday night the village's lone law enforcement Officer B. Phife was found folded up and stuffed in an industrial clothes dryer located deep in the bowels of the The Lodge.  Signs of a struggle were once again found at the crime scene.

Good luck on your detective work !!
